Burning Man or Light My Fire Part Deux

Hello All,

Hope your week is going well. For my relatives back East keep a snow

shovel ready. Well back from NY weather has been great 45-50 here.

We have just about finished painting the inside. While they were doing

that I got to tend the burn pile. It's like being with my buddies on

oldtimers around the fire but they are not there. Some of us know

how important it is to watch the fire. Busy week next week with the

electrician, tile and after that flooring and cabinets. Well it's Miller

time so Stay Thirsty my friends and enjoy the pics.

Start Spreading the News(New York, New York)

Well after a 10 day vacation away from the house I'm back and happy it is 48 and

light rain instead of 8 degrees wind chill below 0 which I experienced in RI and

NY. Started out vacation at my cousin Dan and wife Pat's house for dinner

and football. Had a great time visiting my Mom, brother and his family, and my high school

buddy Pete. Thanks for a good time there. Love You! Then on to NY for a great

weekend with my wife Diane. She surprised me with tickets to the Phantom of the

Opera (our all time favorite play). Wonderful dinner with our friend Roz and

drinks at our favorite Irish pub Paddy McGuires. Finishing up the weekend was

a wonderful dinner at the DORM with Diane's roommates (Ellen, Gay and Linda)

Thank You again for your hospitality. Well back to work at the house.

The Wall continued

Hi All,

The drywallers continue this week doing the taping. Should be ready for

paint next week sometime. I however will be in Rhode Island visiting Mom and then New York to visit my beautiful wife(points?) After paint, finish

electrical, flooring cabinets etc. Move in date minus finish work end of March.

Well again it was nice having family here over the holidays. This week I received

our household goods from CA. I was able to get everything in the rental house

garage. Now on to the house. Garage doors are on and drywall being put up.

The drywall will be done next week and painting will begin. Still about 3 mos

Happy New Year

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year with no hangovers.

Well, it's been nice having family here over the holidays(Diane, Hank, Stephen,

Kierran and Tamara). Got a little done at the house. We are now almost fully

insulated and the fireplace is finally in. Mud men (drywall) will arrive this week

as well as all our furnishings from So. Cal. Cabinets are being made, tile picked
