Ah, another beautiful day in the northwest 68 and sunny. Before going into the construction

news had a great weekend participating in the senior olympics. I entered the horseshoe

tournament and took home the silver medal and then on Sat. I was in the hotshot competition

for basketball and won the gold. Life is good. Now news from the house. After almost two

weeks of building the foundation walls with rebar and wood, we received the go ahead

from the county inspector to pour the cement. That will take place tomorrow 8/31/10.

Here then are some more pics. Have a great day everyone. This is my friend who shows

up every morning.

Greetings from the Northwest. I have been here a little over a month and have
alot accomplished already. I have a rental house in Sequim the town over
from where I am building. I go over to the land everyday and work around
6-7 hours per day. (now I know why I went to college) It is tough work
for a 25 year old never mind an old man. We have cleared the land, put up
the footings and poured cement and now are building the walls for the
foundation. Framing should start in about two weeks. I will try and add
some pics soon.
