I'm back in the saddle again

Hi everyone,

Well after almost 2 months without internet I finally have it at the new house.

Long story short had to trench and lay cable almost 1500ft. House for

praticial purposes is done. County and Bank have signed off. As the weather

better will start on outside. Well here are alot of pics. Stay Thirsty my friends.

Blinded by the light

Hello everyone,

Short week due to move-in and friends visiting. Got all our window

coverings in and started painting the outside(now on rain delay).

Appliances all in and working except dryer which we have to convert

to propane. Got certification of completion from engineering and

waiting for county safety inspection. Well enjoy pics and stay Thirsty my friends.

I'm dyzzy and can hardly handle it.

Hello everyone.
Had a great trip to So. Ca. and visited with my wife and friends(Fred and
my buddies at Dyzzy's record shop) thanks again to Pete for getting me
to the airport. This week was full of drama. Electrician didn't show up
to end of the week and then stepped thru ceiling after putting up chandelier.
Then the plumber stripped a pipe and will have to dig thru tile to repair and
finally the septic guy didn't show up to do final inspection. But I got over
it and moved on. Today was a better day. Got all the painted doors back
on and all the handles on cabinets. Window coverings and propane
delivery on Monday. Still battling on getting cable, internet or phone
to house. Looking forward to friends visiting next week. Well Stay

Classical Gas

Hello everyone,

Short week going to Long Beach to Tues-Sat to see how much we owe

Uncle Sam and see some friends. Painted inside all weekend and

today the Propane company showed up to put in tank and hookup

range and fireplace. Started to appliances in place and carpets will

be in Friday. Should have alot of pics next week. Stay thirsty my

Counter Offer!

Hope everyone in Hawaii and west coast are OK. Life went on here this

week. Said goodbye to my wife on Tues. and back to work. Deck railing

almost complete and counter tops(vanities, kitchen and island) are in.

Doing some painting this weekend and then we will start putting on

the stone at corners and columns. Well here are some pics and stay

Darling I Love You but give me Park Avenue

AHH, the Great Northwest! I am growing moss on my feet. The homestead is progressing nicely; if a little behind schedule. We have been making decisions right and left this week. Decisions are so much easier with a champagne chaser! We spent the day with a glass of bubbly, looking at window coverings on our almost finished deck, in the rain.

I love the wide open spaces of Bloomingdales, and my wide open kitchen reminds me of how much stuff I need to buy to fill it up. Also, the flea market shopping up here is like Portobello Road in London! George is already sorry for dragging me on his "hunting"' expeditions. Too bad, the gilded mirror I sniffed out is a wonderful piece that will look fantastic, somewhere... And the bracelet I found was such a sweet present for him to buy me!! I think I will like it up here.
