Counter Offer!

Hope everyone in Hawaii and west coast are OK. Life went on here this

week. Said goodbye to my wife on Tues. and back to work. Deck railing

almost complete and counter tops(vanities, kitchen and island) are in.

Doing some painting this weekend and then we will start putting on

the stone at corners and columns. Well here are some pics and stay

Darling I Love You but give me Park Avenue

AHH, the Great Northwest! I am growing moss on my feet. The homestead is progressing nicely; if a little behind schedule. We have been making decisions right and left this week. Decisions are so much easier with a champagne chaser! We spent the day with a glass of bubbly, looking at window coverings on our almost finished deck, in the rain.

I love the wide open spaces of Bloomingdales, and my wide open kitchen reminds me of how much stuff I need to buy to fill it up. Also, the flea market shopping up here is like Portobello Road in London! George is already sorry for dragging me on his "hunting"' expeditions. Too bad, the gilded mirror I sniffed out is a wonderful piece that will look fantastic, somewhere... And the bracelet I found was such a sweet present for him to buy me!! I think I will like it up here.

You Keep me Hanging On

Howdy,

Started hanging interior doors and getting ready to paint trim on Sunday.

Tile all laid and ready for grout. My lovely wife will be joining me this

next week for a visit and inspection. We had snow two days ago around

7 inches enough to stop the appliances from being delivered. Lots of

final decisions will be made while Diane is here and hope to be close to

done by April 1st or so (no Joke I hope)

I'm Floored or Home on the Range

Howdy,

Well we're moving along again. Always some setbacks. This week saw us continuing

with the tiled showers. Paul and I finished the hardwood floors and started laying

the floor tile in each bathroom. We also had the balance of cabinets delivered and

installation has begun. Big thanks to my cousin Dan and his wife Pat for not only

storing Diane's 500lb range for the past year but also hand delivering it to the

house(Thanks Again). Well enough talk here are some pics. Stay Thirsty my

Everything but the kitchen sink

Well I took a couple of unpaid sick days this week to entertain my buddy Bob from

Montana. We had alot of fun and good conversation. Now back to the house.

Everything is coming in now and coming together. Some of the cabinets are

in, tile all in and being installed. Wood flooring will be put in Sunday by Paul

and I. Started to move some household stuff over to basement Still at least

a month behind. Well as always enjoy the pics and Stay Thirsty my friends.

You Light Up My Life

If you remember this was Debby Boone God help us. Busy week with continuing tile

work in showers, putting down hardy back for kitchen tile and electrical. Doors also
arrived and so did planks for deck. Also put in the solar tubes. My buddy Bob is visiting next week and I will put him to work. Basement is cleared out so I can start moving things over. Should

move in before 15th of March. Well as always enjoy the pics and stay Thirsty my

Burning Man or Light My Fire Part Deux

Hello All,

Hope your week is going well. For my relatives back East keep a snow

shovel ready. Well back from NY weather has been great 45-50 here.

We have just about finished painting the inside. While they were doing

that I got to tend the burn pile. It's like being with my buddies on

oldtimers around the fire but they are not there. Some of us know

how important it is to watch the fire. Busy week next week with the

electrician, tile and after that flooring and cabinets. Well it's Miller

time so Stay Thirsty my friends and enjoy the pics.
